It falls on the full moon night in Vaishakh (according to the Hindu calendar which usually falls in April or May). The turning point in his life came when Siddhartha was twenty-seven years old and he ventured outside the palace grounds. Surrounded by the miseries of the world (old age, disease and death), he left his wife, son and wealth and became a wandering ascetic in search of enlightenment.

He wandered in many places and finally at the age of thirty-five he came to Bodh Gaya, where he was sitting under a tree. He took an oath that he would not rise until he attained enlightenment. After thirty-one days of solitary practice, he attained the state of nirvana, stability. Thus he became Buddha.

1. Man should not think about the past nor should he worry about the future. We should focus on our present moment. This is the way to happiness.

2. Man has the responsibility to keep his body healthy. If the body is not healthy then your thinking and mind will also not be healthy and clear.

3. All wrong actions are born in the mind. If your mind is changed, then the thought of doing wrong deeds will not take birth in the mind.

4. That one word that brings peace is better than a thousand empty words.

5. Hating someone will not end the hatred of your mind, it can be ended only by love. In the same way, evil does not end with evil, it ends with love.

6. Those who love as many people as they are unhappy with. He who is not in love has no trouble.

7. More dangerous than a wild animal is an insidious and evil friend because the animal only causes physical harm to you, while the evil friend harms your intelligence. One should beware of such friends.

8. The habit of messaging and doubt is terrible, it sours the relationship. Friendship breaks up.

9. Man should not be angry. You are not punished for anger, but you are punished by anger.

10. It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles, then victory will always be yours.

11. These three things in the world can never be hidden: the moon, the sun and the truth.

12. A person walking on the path of truth can make only two mistakes. First — he doesn't cover the whole path either. The second - or else will not follow that path.

13. It is better for a human being to achieve his goal than to have a good journey to achieve the goal.
