AARTI-

WHY IS AARTI PERFORMED AFTER WORSHIP ?

There are many ways of praising God, some express their gratitude by doing kirtan, while some remember God by doing Jagran, Havan etc. Most of us are such people who do worship daily, but have you ever noticed why aarti is performed after worship. There is also a reason behind performing aarti. Let us know the logic behind performing Aarti. It is not that only Aarti has religious significance but Aarti also has scientific logic.

The Aarti plate contains cotton, ghee, camphor, flowers, sandalwood. Cotton is pure , there is no adulteration in it. Similarly, ghee is also the basic element of milk. Camphor and sandalwood are also pure and sattvic substances. When a wick of ghee and camphor is lit with cotton, a wonderful aroma spreads in the atmosphere.
Due to this, the negative energy present in the surrounding environment runs away and positive energy starts flowing. Because of this good thoughts come in the mind.

As we all know that what is the effect of fragrance in our life, it keeps our heart and mind calm due to which any kind of negativity does not dominate us. At the same time, with the sound of the conch shell and the bell ringing in the Aarti, the mind is focused towards any deity, which is sung by meditation, due to which our mind gets peace by putting an end to the questions going on in the mind.
