NADI SHASTRA-

WHAT IS NADI SHASTRA? 
Nadi Shastra is that method of astrology in which without knowing the name of the person, his entire life story is told. This method of Nadi Shastra is mainly from South India.

MEANING OF NADI-
The word Nadi refers to a quantity of time. This time of Nadi Shastra is equal to half "Muharta" i.e. equal to 24 minutes. Nadi word is a symbol of time hence it is used in the sense of astrology.

NADI SHASTRA TRADITION-
The word Nadi is more prevalent in South India and some texts of Nadi Shastra have been composed there. Some of which are still available as ancient treasures in South India.

GENERAL OUTLINES OF NADI GRANTH-

Just as Bhrigu Shastra, Aruna Sahita and Ravana Sahita etc. are counted in the famous texts of North India and with the help of these texts the human beings who have taken birth and who will be born now, all of them are told in detail about their life and the events that will happen in their lives.

Like North India, some important and famous texts like Nandi Naad, Shukra Nadi, Bhujandar Nadi, Sapta Rishi Nadi, Chandrakala Nadi etc. have been composed in South India too. In all these Nadi Shastras, the full account of the past and future of human life is already written.

FEATURES OF NADI SHASTRA-

1. If you want to know about your future through Nadi Granth, the scholars sitting in front of you; without knowing your life or your name, about your life, about your family like - your mother's name, father's name, sister's name, number of your brothers and sisters, about your children, where do you work, what business are you doing; will give you all these informations. Overall, from Nadi Shastra, you get complete information about your past, present and future from this book.

2. Nadi Shastras are not like scriptures of astrology, in which only the principles of astrology are there. Through Nadi Jyotish, information about various events of human life is available. The description of all the planets is not found in details in the texts of Nadi Shastra, but so much information is definitely obtained from this book by which the name of any person can be known and the direction of the planets situated in his horoscope can be known.

3. The texts of Nadi Shastra have been composed by scholars on the basis of the position of the planets by which information about the whole life of human is available. In these texts, only principles similar to astrology were not mentioned. For example, in astrology, it is only told that this defect or incident has happened on the basis of this rule of astrology.
