To understand Nature, Heal the Mankind
Once Lord Buddha sent his beloved disciple Anand on a mission. On the way, Anand saw Matanga Jatiya Balika (her name is Nature) by a well near a village and asked her for a drink of water.
Nature said: "O Brahmin, I am a very low caste and a sinner. I cannot give you drinking water so please do not ask me for any service. I am the daughter of a very low caste hence your holiness will be defiled in it."
Then Anand said: "I am not asking you for water, I am asking for water."
Hearing this, the mind of the Matanga girl seemed to dance with joy. He gave Anand a drink of water.
After drinking the water, Anand thanked him and left. But the girl followed him from a distance.
Anand is a disciple of Gautam Shakyamuni, hearing this, the girl went to Lord Buddha and cried and said: "Lord, help me, wherever your disciple Anand lives, let me stay there too so that I can serve him. I love Anand. "
Lord Buddha felt the girl's heartbeat perfectly. He said: "Nature, your heart is full of love, yet you do not fully understand your passion. The one you love is not joy, it is the kindness of joy. Show that kindness to others even in the state of humility. "
Lord Buddha said: "When the king is kind to his slave, the greatness of the king is hidden in that mercy but there is more greatness in the mercy of the slave, because the slave ignores all the injustices towards him, but the kindness and goodwill towards the whole human race. He refrains from hating his oppressors. Even though he is unable to resist their desire for power by empathy, he takes pity on their arrogant and egotistical behavior. "
"Nature, you are blessed. Because you are a low caste Matanga but you will be the ideal of high caste men and women. You are untouchable, but Brahmins will also learn from you. So do not deviate from the path of justice and religion . "
